Robert was the first of my Class of 2018 Seniors to have his session this season. I really didn’t expect him to be to excited or want anything crazy. Anyone that knows Robert, knows that just isn’t his style.
I was pleasantly surprised to find Robert was very cooperative and willing to do what was asked. He even brought along his Varsity jacket in the 85 degree weather, never complaining once about the heat. This made not only me happy, but his mother as well. You see Robert is a very sports oriented guy, especially when it comes to Soccer and Swimming. As you can see on his arm, his Swim team has won their Sectionals just a few times. What you can’t tell is that Robert has been one of the members of their team that made States! Having this included in his session was a great way to capture a big part of who Robert is. I think we were all happy that it wasn’t too hot so we could still capture it.
If you aren’t from Avon you won’t notice that the three locations we visited are all apart of our small town. While close together they were still able to give Robert and his family different looks to their gallery all while representing the place that Robert grew up and where he learned how to play the sports he is now so passionate about.
It was an honor to be a part of this milestone with Robert and his family. I hope that Senior year is amazing and I wish him all the luck in this next journey!
So many interests and only so much time! 😉 Tap dancing, graffiti, hippy love (with a splash of duck lips of course) how can one can go wrong? You can’t look at a photo of Miss L and not smile, or laugh just because this gal is nothing but a big ball of fun. This session doesn’t even begin to cover the things she is interested and very passionate about, she is more than willing to have a conversation about all the things she loves and make you forget that she isn’t even in High School yet!
I have to say as well that while Miss L has a wide variety of interests, she also has a mature sense of the world. While I had the pleasure of spending time with her we not only talked about random preteen topics, but also current events and concerns she had in general of the world she was growing up in. It isn’t often I get to spend time with a tween who is so honest and open about their concern for others. I am not saying that I know a bunch of selfish kids, please don’t misunderstand! However, it seems in the world today, it isn’t the “cool” thing at a young age to openly express boldly what you believe is wrong, dangerous or scary. I found it very promising that Miss L had no fear in doing so. I believe this one will leave her mark on our world, it is just a matter of time!
I recently stopped into a few of the Lava girls Volleyball Tournaments. These girls are awesome! They were really fun to watch, not just in their skill but their enjoyment of each other. Here is just a few shots of some of the games. I will definitely need to go back again!
Not too many girls would voluntarily go out adventuring into the city- but this girl was up for it. We may have choose a rainy and rather windy afternoon but we made it to all the spots on our list-but more! We even had a coffee house included in that list. If you are ever in the Rochester, NY area you MUST stop in to Java’s. The BEST cupcakes and lattes your taste buds could ever ask for.
You may recognize Syd from a few posts back, she joined me on a Best Friend Session. So if you think she looks familiar- that may be why! Or maybe you noticed her in our swimming photos- she is one of our few girls that swim with the boys and have to meet their times. Yes, she is pretty awesome! I am sure you will see here showing up here again! 🙂
One of my favorite moments from our MT vacation the summer of 2015. As we were stuck in Bison traffic, this was happening a car ahead. I was that crazy tourist that leaned out of their car upside down to capture the moment and not disturb Momma and baby. Crazy, yes -but it worked right? 🙂 Shortly after the two were separated for a moment and you could hear them calling to one another until they found each other. Such sweet moments, Yellowstone National Park truly is magical if you can respect the rules given for your safety.
Once I saw that Cee had a Fun Foto Challenge that themed the Big, Small & New I knew just what photo fit that bill to a “T”…Big Momma, Small and New baby…all Bison of course! Thanks for stopping by! ❤

I am a photographer that is in love with leading lines and pathways. As you can see in some of my recent Florida vacation shots, I like to share them too! I hope you enjoy these as much as I love to look at them! Happy Friday! ❤

Cee’s Which Way Photo Challenge – January 18, 2017
In Spring of 2015, my family went to a local park here in Rochester, NY. Highland Park. Every year they have the most amazing floral displays for weeks. But around Mother’s Day seems to always be the peak of their beauty. So of course when I saw Cee’s flower of the day all about Tulip’s today I could not resist sharing these! I hope others enjoy them as much as I have. For more gorgeous flowers- especially during this dreary plain winter here in NY- hop on over to Cee’s page! Make sure to take a look around, there is more than just the tulips and a flower a day…you won’t be sorry! ❤
