I recently stopped into a few of the Lava girls Volleyball Tournaments. These girls are awesome! They were really fun to watch, not just in their skill but their enjoyment of each other. Here is just a few shots of some of the games. I will definitely need to go back again!
Not too many girls would voluntarily go out adventuring into the city- but this girl was up for it. We may have choose a rainy and rather windy afternoon but we made it to all the spots on our list-but more! We even had a coffee house included in that list. If you are ever in the Rochester, NY area you MUST stop in to Java’s. The BEST cupcakes and lattes your taste buds could ever ask for.
You may recognize Syd from a few posts back, she joined me on a Best Friend Session. So if you think she looks familiar- that may be why! Or maybe you noticed her in our swimming photos- she is one of our few girls that swim with the boys and have to meet their times. Yes, she is pretty awesome! I am sure you will see here showing up here again! 🙂
In honor of our first real snow fall (more than a dusting)here in Avon, NY, I am posting this throwback to 3 years ago. Locals will recognize this bridge that runs over the Genesee River and begins the Erie Attica Trail. This trail actually runs along a former railroad bed and behind many farm fields. It is a great place to run, walk, bike, cross country ski or even ride horses!

I have been a little absent from my blog lately. I finally just caught up on some old things that needed posting. I can’t even tell you how excited I was to see all this amazing challenge posts over on Cee’s blog! So much beauty all in one place. But this particular challenge, is right up my alley! I am a photographer that is in love with leading lines and pathways. As you can see in some of my recent Florida vacation shots, I like to share them too! I hope you enjoy these as much as I love to look at them! Happy Friday! ❤

Cee’s Which Way Photo Challenge – January 18, 2017
In Spring of 2015, my family went to a local park here in Rochester, NY. Highland Park. Every year they have the most amazing floral displays for weeks. But around Mother’s Day seems to always be the peak of their beauty. So of course when I saw Cee’s flower of the day all about Tulip’s today I could not resist sharing these! I hope others enjoy them as much as I have. For more gorgeous flowers- especially during this dreary plain winter here in NY- hop on over to Cee’s page! Make sure to take a look around, there is more than just the tulips and a flower a day…you won’t be sorry! ❤
Flower of the Day – January 20, 2017 – Tulip Festival
Can I just tell you how much fun this was? Out of all the things these two could choose to do during their session- they choose to bake! It was a great time watching these two in what is obviously their element. They made cookies and Nutella Rice Krispie treats. Sure there were times when chaos erupted- Nutella on noses, cookie dough being eaten, etc but these gals sure know how to have good old fashion fabulous fun!
My second set of Best Friends and these gals are dancers! Not just any sort of dancers, they take things to the extreme. They brought their pointe shoes to our session- so fun paired with jeans! We had a great time exploring the SUNY Geneseo Campus looking for different places to combine with their point shoes but also their matching Converse sneakers. Girls after my own heart there- anyone that knows me well knows that I have my very own collection of them! I hope to get these girls behind my camera another day, such a great time!
