Miss E’s Winter Session

Meet Miss E! She was the lucky winner of a Winter Session that seemed to never come. 😉 Mother Nature apparently had plans on holding out the snow on us until the last minute. FINALLY we had some this past weekend and took full advantage. You have probably seen Miss E in the Swimming and Volleyball posts-I have caught her a few times in her sport activities. This time I had the chance for a little one on one portrait work. It was only 16 degrees and a bit windy, but totally worth it- don’t you think?

Flower of the Day – January 25, 2017

Have you ever decided to play in the rain- with flowers? I did that one warm Spring afternoon. I am sure that my neighbors thought I had lost my mind. “Why is she standing out there over her flowerbed getting soaked?” Well I still say that this daisy was well worth it. As I sit here today with a mug of daisies that my husband had delivered last week I am reminded of that much warmer day. There is just something about a daisy that can make a girl smile. 🙂

Highland Park Tulips <3

In Spring of 2015, my family went to a local park here in Rochester, NY. Highland Park. Every year they have the most amazing floral displays for weeks. But around Mother’s Day seems to always be the peak of their beauty. So of course when I saw Cee’s flower of the day all about Tulip’s today I could not resist sharing these! I hope others enjoy them as much as I have. For more gorgeous flowers- especially during this dreary plain winter here in NY- hop on over to Cee’s page! Make sure to take a look around, there is more than just the tulips and a flower a day…you won’t be sorry! ❤
